    Shrouded Gala

We look forward to welcoming invitees to the Sacred Oak Foundation's summer gala. This is a part of a biannual gala series organized by Hancock Fitzgerald and Doku Farilem, to raise gil for the foundation's orphanage fund. Sacred Oak strives to improve quality of life in orphanages, providing funding for care and health, education, necessities, and activities. The foundation has spent the past few years funding orphanages across Eorzea, Kugane, and Tuliyollal, with the latest addition being Yanxia. Guests may donate directly to the foundation via the on-site representative, through post, or by participating in the silent auction, with all proceeds going towards the aforementioned endeavors. The event's sponsor, the East Aldenard Trading Company, has agreed to match all donations and winning bids; they have also agreed to provide transportation to and from Camp Bronze Lake for attendees. This will be a masked gala and the theme is 'shroud,' a nod to the time of day and end of season. Guests are expected to attend dressed in cocktail attire and a mask in their interpretation of the event's theme. Attendees can enjoy the mountain scenery during cocktail hour as summer rays slide into radiant sunset, as well as indulge in drinks and treats courtesy of The Poison Grotto. During this time guests may mingle and dance, peruse the items available for auction, and place anonymous bids. These donated items range from gift baskets to vacation packages, gemstones to jewelry, art pieces to handcrafted instruments, rare tomes and potions, and so on. Guests will have until the final hour to place their bids, during which a dinner will take place. Winning bids will be announced towards the end, and the purchase can be picked up on the way out.In addition to the Shrouded Gala, guests are invited to attend the after-party: the Twilight Carnival! Kick off the fancy shoes and enjoy the night. Themed drinks and treats will be available, as well as shopping and entertainment. If a guest has purchased an item from the auction, they can store it at the inn until they are ready to end the night.
